AIMS Insights Announces Historic Department-Wide Expansion of Mimir at Embry-Riddle Athletics

Southampton, United Kingdom; AIMS Insights, the UK-based performance innovation company, today announced a landmark partnership expansion with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), marking the first-ever department-wide rollout of its  ground-breaking team-climate technology, Mimir, across an NCAA athletics  programme.

Mimir, developed by AIMS Insights, provides daily measurement of a team’s  psychological climate, offering coaches an unprecedented 3–4 day early-insight  window into emerging performance challenges or opportunities. These insights allow staff to make proactive, evidence-based decisions that strengthen team culture, support athlete wellbeing, and enhance competitive performance.

Following a highly successful first year with Embry-Riddle, whose early adoption  generated over 10,000 insight submissions and more than 70,000 athlete data points,  the university will now integrate Mimir across additional sports, including lacrosse, softball, volleyball, and golf, with further expansion already in planning.

Dr Steve Smith, Chief Scientific Officer at AIMS Insights, commented:

"Working with visionary, early-adopter programs like Embry-Riddle is critical in shaping  this new data field," said Dr. Steve Smith, Chief Scientific Officer at AIMS Insights. "In  our first year together, we saw over 10,000 submissions and with more than 70,000 data  points across the 3 teams we worked with. This proved that not only will athletes engage  with the software, but they are motivated to contribute insights that help  their team grow. To now see an entire athletics department embrace Mimir marks a  defining moment for the future of athlete development and team-climate analytics.”

Dr Rachel Burleson, Director of Athletics at Embry-Riddle, added:

"Embry-Riddle is proud to lead the way in this world-first initiative with AIMS Insights.  Being the first athletics department to expand Mimir across multiple sports  demonstrates our commitment to innovation and to providing our student-athletes with  the best possible resources. The insights we've gained not only strengthen our programs  but also ensure we continue building an environment where our athletes thrive both on  and off the field."
